We will send you instructions on how to safely package and deliver your flowers so that they arrive in the best condition. We recommend getting the flowers to us no later than 48 hours after your event.

STEP 3
Pack and send your flowers
It's time to ship your flowers off! We will remind you of the careful instructions on how to tend to your flowers before shipping.

STEP 4
Time for the fun part

Once we receive your flowers, we will start the drying process. Flowers can take anywhere from 1 week to a couple weeks to dry, depending on the flower. Once dry, we'll design your piece and layer it in resin.

Please note: Preserving flowers in resin is a time-consuming process, filled with love and many hours. For that reason, your order can take up to 10 weeks.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better! After a certain amount of orders per week, we stop taking bookings. For that reason, it's best to book your spot as soon as possible.

My date is booked! What do I do now?

Keep an eye on your emails! We have created a step-by-step guide on how to package your flowers for delivery.

What is the turnaround time?

Drying and preserving flowers takes time and perfection. In fact, drying can take between 1 to 8 weeks! Proteas take more than 3 months to dry. Simply put, flower preservation is a work of art. For that reason, you can expect to receive your flowers in +/- 10 weeks! It will be well worth the wait.

When should I get my flowers to you?

It's important that the flowers arrive no later than 48 hours after the event, and preferably within 24 hours. The longer the flowers wait to be dried, the higher the risk of wilting and bruising.

How will I get my flowers to you?

We will send you a simple, step-by-step guide on how to get your flowers to us safely and quickly.

We do have a local drop-off/pickup option in Somerset West if you prefer too. Just pop us an email at to arrange details.

Can you work with flowers that are already dry?

Yes! We can turn an old bouquet into an art piece to display. It's important that there is no mould or moisture on the flowers. If so, we won't be able to work with them. Feel free to email us photos if you're unsure!

Do you work with bouquets that have succulents?

Succlents, unfortunately, do not dry fully unfortunately and therefore we can't work with them.

How do I keep my flowers in prime condition until time of shipment?

Take special care of your flowers on the day of the event.

Avoid touching the flower petals and throwing the bouquet if possible. Rather toss a bridesmaid's bouquet instead!

Keep the flower stems in water until the time of shipment and follow our instructions sent via email.

Can I place my bouquet in the fridge or freezer until I get it to you to keep it fresh?

Do NOT place your bouquet in the freezer or fridge! We do not accept bouquets that have been placed in the freezer.

Will all of my flowers be used?

We pick the most beautiful and healthy flowers to include! Most of the time, we can't include all the flowers. We also don't ship any of the unused flowers back.

Will the final piece look exactly like my bouquet?

The preservation process is incredibly unique in being able to replicate your bouquet. It will not look exactly the same as it did on the day in terms of size and slight colour transformation, but it will remind you of the best day ever!

What changes will my flowers go through?

Your flowers will go through a transformation process while they are being preserved.

Here are some of the changes that may occur:

- Red/deep-colored roses will get darker.
- White flowers will develop into a more off-white or yellow tone.
- ”Bruising” or “translucent spots” may occur. To reduce this, try not to handle/touch/throw your flowers.
- Some tropical flowers/greenery may not survive the drying process or may turn a brown color.

Tips on how to care for your flowers during and after your event?

- Keep your flowers in water when they are not being used and after the event. Try to keep your flowers out of direct heat or in a cool dark room.

- Try to avoid touching your flowers as this can result in extra oils and bruising of the flowers.

- Don't use your bridal bouquet for the bridal toss.

- When shipping us your flowers, do not put plastic or a bag around your flowers as this can act as a heat chamber.

Tips on shipping your flowers?

- Place a wet paper towel or water tubes on the bottom of the stems to get them hydrated during shipping.

- Securely pack the flowers in the box with tissue paper to avoid movement and damage.

How do I take care of my resin piece?

Each piece is made with high-quality resin that is very durable, but it still needs to be handled with care. Please keep your piece out of direct sunlight for optimal protection. You may also wipe down your piece occasionally by using a lint-less cloth.

Will my piece change over time?

The resin we use to preserve your flowers is clear, and very high-quality. It provides a three-dimensional experience of viewing your wedding flowers. Over time, the resin might develop a slight amber-like glow. We think this adds a beautiful, vintage element to it.

Disclaimer: resin yellowing is an inevitable effect from the natural aging of your product. The best way to prevent this from happening is to leave it out of any kind of direct sunlight. We are not responsible for the natural effects of aging in your product.
